In 2021, the Liberal Democrats achieved a historic breakthrough, taking control of Amersham Town Council and ending Conservative dominance. Building on that momentum, the 2025 Local Elections marked a definitive turning point. Residents across all wards, from Amersham on the Hill to the Old Town, voted for continued progress, delivering a clean sweep of all 15 seats to the Liberal Democrats.
