For years, the Liberal Democrats have warned that the Conservative Party’s failure to have a housing plan for Buckinghamshire left our communities vulnerable to development. Sadly that now risks coming to pass.
The Conservative Party’s lack of action has left a wide open goal for the Labour government - which means 95,500 new homes are being planned for our area.
The Liberal Democrats will fight to ensure that new GP surgeries, schools and other local infrastructure is built alongside any new housing so that our local services aren’t overwhelmed.

The map includes areas being proposed by the Council as areas for development, as well as areas that have been provisionally labelled as ‘grey belt’, which leaves them at risk of speculative development.
