Nazmeen Akhtar
Liberal Democrat candidate for Vale Ward
Nazmeen Akhtar is standing to deliver energetic, hard-working representation for the residents of Vale Ward on Chesham Town Council come Thursday, 24th September.
Having lived in Chesham for four years and worked on our High Street, Nazmeen understands the challenges facing our town centre and local independent businesses first-hand. As an active member of our local allotment group, she is passionate about protecting Chesham’s green spaces and caring for our local environment.
Throughout her career in the charity sector, Nazmeen has spent years working alongside volunteers and people from all walks of life. That experience has shaped her core belief that everyone in our community deserves genuine, honest, and accessible representation from local government.
A Clear Choice for Vale Ward
This by-election presents a clear choice about who represents our neighbourhood on the Town Council.
While Conservative-run Buckinghamshire Council continues to neglect Chesham, failing to fix our roads and underfunding essential facilities, Nazmeen will work alongside our Liberal Democrat team to stand up for our town and deliver real results.
With multiple candidates on the ballot paper, splitting the vote risks letting the Conservatives back in. Only Nazmeen Akhtar and the Liberal Democrats have the strong track record of delivery needed to beat the Conservatives in Vale Ward!
Vote Nazmeen Akhtar on Thursday 24th September.
